Export to CSV enables you to save all your issue data (including comments, links and custom fields) from Issue Navigator into the most commonly used exchange format. Data is organized by columns separated by semicolon character (;).

Before you begin:

  • To change the number of issues that are exported, change the value of the tempMax parameter in the URL.

To export your issues to CSV:

  1. Select Issues > Search for Issues to open the Issue Navigator
  2. Refine your search, as described in Searching for Issues
  3. Then select one of the following options from Export button:

CSV w/ Comments (All): Will export all issue fields to a CSV format including comments, links and custom fields.

CSV w/ Comments (Current): Will export only current fields displayed in the Issue Navigator to a CSV format including parent, comments and remote links.

  4. A file called <SearchRequest>.csv will be created.
In large exports (tens of thousands of issues), after clicking the export option a delay of several seconds can occur until the "Save as" dialog appears to save the CSV file.
